The Evelyn Reid Syphax School of Education offers a Master of Arts (M.A) in Curriculum and Instruction. The degree program is 36 hours and is designed for teachers and other educators who aspire to serve in leadership and support roles in schools and other agencies that serve school clientele.

Application Checklist    
• Complete a MACI Application    
• Submission of All Final College Transcript(s).
*A final transcript must contain a seal and signature. GPA must be 2.75 or higher.    
• Submission of TWO (2) Recommendation Letters    
• Submission of a one-page Personal EssayPlease mail all application materials to:

Check Your Application Status
In order to view your application status, you should have received an email notification with username and password. The "my.vuu.edu" portal is an intranet site that allows your to received updated information on your acceptance status, financial aid award, and other important information.

If you forget your password, please contact the Registrar's Office at 804.257.5846.

1. Visit MyVUU
2. Enter Username (Student ID#) and Password  at the top of the webpage and choose Login.
3. Click on the ADMISSIONS tab at the top of the page
4. Click on UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSIONS in the left margin
5. Click on ADMISSIONS STATUS6. Click on VIEW ADMISSIONS STATUS
